On the 4th of July 2007, US Ambassador Kristie Kenney hosted a reception in celebration of the American Independence Day & the Fil-Am Frienship Day on board the USS Peleliu docked at Legazpi City Port.

The Aquinas University Main Library conducted an outreach program in Danao, Polangui, Albay last September 14, 2007. The University Librarian, Mrs. Rosemarie Ante, upon seing the conditions of the pupils promised to donate more educational materials and x'mas gifts on December of the same year. The AQ Library staff are doing their best to sustain this activity.
