This is a yearly promotional/marketing strategy of the Main Library with the primary objective of acquainting the faculty, staff and students of the library's latest resources (print & non-print) and services. Our beloved Rector & President, Fr. Mon Mendez, OP led the formal opening of exhibit. With him were the University Chaplain, Fr. Norman Quilaquil, OP; the OIC for Academics, Rosalinda B. Barquez; the Secretary-General, Engr. Virgilio Perdigon; the Academic Instruction Coordinator, Abelardo Belleza; the Faculty Secretary of BA, Milagros Atutubo; and the University Librarian, Rosemarie Ante, respectively. Present also during the affair were the AQ librarians, library science students and other library patrons.

Get Caught Reading Porgram

This campaign/program opens up the challenges of reading good books. The Library strongly encourages everyone to keep on reading and borrowing books. Photos of a student or faculty caught reading will be posted on the this blog and on the library's bulletin board on a monthly basis. A token or a prize awaits the winner. For the month of July our winner is Ms. Kristina Gascon of the College of Nursing & Health Sciences. Congratulations.....

Last November 29, 2007 the AUL Library has conducted its Community Outreach Activity (2nd time) at Danao Elementary School in Polangui, Albay. The activities conducted were: Feeding (morning & afternoon), Gift Giving (clothings, toothpastes, toothbrushes & educational materials). This was made successful through the collective efforts of the AUL Librarians, Student Assistants, some Donors and the Brgy. Council of Danao.

The Aquinas University Main Library conducted an outreach program in Danao, Polangui, Albay last September 14, 2007. The University Librarian, Mrs. Rosemarie Ante, upon seing the conditions of the pupils promised to donate more educational materials and x'mas gifts on December of the same year. The AQ Library staff are doing their best to sustain this activity.
